BOJAN BOGIC
About:
Bojan (Left) is the brains behind CST, a guy who’s as obsessed with fishing as most people are with their morning coffee. Growing up in Serbia, he was practically born with a fishing rod in hand, casting lines on legendary rivers like the Danube, Sava, Drina, and Tisa by age 6. Yeah, he was that kid. Fast forward to 2013, and Bojan moved to Calgary, bringing his fishing obsession with him—now with a very respectable tackle box. As a multi-species angler, he’s practically on a first-name basis with every river in Alberta and B.C., chasing everything that swims. If there’s water and fish, Bojan’s there—probably explaining to the fish how to outsmart his own handmade lures.

ROB FRANZON
About: Rob (Left) is the embodiment of a true Calgarian—born with a fishing rod in one hand and a hunting rifle in the other (okay, okay, maybe not literally, but you get the picture). This guy lives for the outdoors. When he’s not at work, you can bet he’s out fishing, hunting, or maybe just having a heart-to-heart with a squirrel, trying to convince it to be his new best friend.
Fishing’s Rob’s ultimate outdoor passion—whether it’s a lake, river, or ocean, Rob’s got a tackle box that could probably double as a flotation device, and a fishing hat that might be held together with more hope than actual fabric.
He started fishing at the tender age of—well, whenever his grandfather could stop him from running off to find more worms (spoiler: it wasn’t often). Those early fishing lessons? Let’s just say they stuck harder than the worm on his hook. Now, Rob’s an angler with more stories than he has fish to catch—and trust us, he’s caught plenty. His fish tales are so epic, even the fish are like, “Okay, we get it, you’re amazing, just reel us in already.” But hey, that’s Rob for you—part fishing legend, part wildlife negotiator, and full-time outdoors enthusiast.

BRANDON CLARK
About: Avid outdoorsman, self-proclaimed cowboy, and expert in all things “wild and free”—except when it comes to his Wi-Fi, which he swears is a “modern wilderness challenge.” With over 10 years of fishing experience, Brandon is basically a walking, talking fishing encyclopedia. His goal? To “educate, entertain, and inspire”—or as he likes to call it, “teach people how to catch fish and not look like amateurs doing it.” Whether he’s hunting, gathering, or literally herding wild squirrels in a cowboy hat, Brandon’s on a mission to help everyone, from seasoned adventurers to weekend warriors, find their happy place in the great outdoors. Spoiler alert: It’s usually somewhere with a fishing rod in hand and a cold beverage in the other. Just don’t ask him for directions—he’s still convinced “taking the scenic route” is just another way of saying “getting lost.”

DANIEL CUBAYNES
About: Daniel is an Alberta-based angler with a serious fishing habit—and by “serious,” we mean obsessed. He’ll fish for pretty much anything that swims, but when it comes to Bulls, he’s like a kid chasing an ice cream truck—nothing else matters. Why Bulls? Because they’re the “challenge” fish, obviously. They’re like the game bosses of the trout world, and Daniel’s out here with his fishing rod like he’s trying to beat a level in a video game.
When he’s not hunting down Bulls, you’ll find him testing waters and finding new places to fish—places so remote, even GPS gets nervous. He’s the kind of guy who finds an unfamiliar stream and thinks, “Oh, this looks great… I’ll probably regret this later.” But hey, if there’s one thing Daniel loves more than the fish, it’s the adventure—and also the fish, of course.

DINOS LAZARIDIS
About: Dinos is basically the Poseidon of Alberta’s fishing scene—if Poseidon had a truck, a tackle box, and a serious addiction to catching every fish that swims. With multiple fishing records under his belt (because why settle for one when you can break them all?), Dinos has been obsessed with fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod—basically since birth, if you ask him.
This guy’s not just fishing; he’s out here hunting trophy fish like they owe him money. If there’s a fish big enough to challenge him, Dinos is like, “Bring it on, I’ve got a lure and a point to prove!” He’s constantly pushing the status quo and breaking barriers—mostly his own personal bests, because, let’s face it, this guy is a fishing machine.
Dinos is the type to turn up at a new body of water like it’s a secret treasure map. He doesn’t just explore new spots; he probably knows the local fish by name and has a list of grievances with them. But hey, it’s all in the name of the hunt, and if there’s one thing Dinos does best, it’s proving that the fish are never safe when he’s around.

ZION GAL
About: Zion is a true Alberta original—born in the wilds, raised by fish, and probably had a fishing rod in his crib. Fishing, hunting, and nature aren’t just hobbies for Zion, they’re literally in his blood, which, at this point, is about 80% fish scales and 20% wilderness wisdom.
When it comes to multi-species fishing, Zion’s knowledge is so deep, it’s basically a PhD in catching everything that swims. This guy doesn’t just fish—he could probably teach fish how to swim better. His expertise in professional fishing techniques brings such an educational punch, even the fish are like, “Wait, is that how we’re supposed to be doing it?”
But Zion doesn’t stop there. He’s a passionate advocate for angler opportunity, fish management, and proper catch-and-release techniques. He’s probably written a few fish parenting books at this point, and let’s just say, the fish are very well-behaved in his presence. Over the years, Zion has guided so many anglers, they’ve lost track of whether they’re learning from him or just following him because he always knows the best fishing spots—and maybe because he’s secretly a wilderness magician.
One thing’s for sure: if Zion’s involved, the fish don’t stand a chance… but they do get a solid education in the process.
